Baked goods Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 6:52PM Hands down my juicy cheese burgers are a family favorite but I'm always trying out meat free alternatives. Tonight we had marinated pan grilled portabello mushroom sandwiches with caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, goat cheese with a smokey horseradish sauce on toasted whole wheat rolls. Delicious.
My Recipes Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2:03PM It was opening day at our local Farmers Market here in Roslindale. We saw and met a lot of new vendors this year. It's going to be an exciting summer of shopping. While we were in the Village we stopped at Boston Cheese Cellars, Oh Man, my new favorite strong cheese is Oma from Vermont. At the Market we also picked up some Foxboro Fromage Blanc, it was so good we'll be buying more of that next week. I've got plans for all of these beautiful bunches of Kale we brought home.
Farmers Markets Friday, June 4, 2010 at 12:22PM I can't wait to make this oven fried chicken I've been perfecting for a client. I've added my own twist to it. I'm about to take another batch out of the oven. Summer weather is here, it's going to be a great picnic type of dinner tonight with a home made honey mustard dipping sauce.
